Stefan is a filmmaker and artist living and working in the Boston area. He hold a BFA in Film/Video from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and works primarily in the mediums of 16mm and Super-8 film. He also does work in video, animation, sound, photography, illustration, design, and sculpture, as well as writing.

Along with his girlfriend, Mariya Nikiforova, Stefan runs the filmmakers' resource website radonlake.com and the associated film screening series The People's Cinema and Illuminating Visions.
